Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan is all set to direct an action film by mid 2009. While interacting with the media, the national award winning actor informed that his wife Kajol will not play any role in his upcoming flick. Ajay Devgan made his directorial debut with the movie ‘U Me Aur Hum’, which received much appreciation for successfully portraying the ravages of Alzheimer's disease.
Informing about his upcoming project, Ajay Devgan said that movie will have action scenes with undercurrent of dark humour. Talking about non-inclusion of Kajol, the actor said that the role in the film does not suit her and that’s why it has been decided not to take her up for the project. Kajol played a role with Ajay Devgan in ‘U Me Aur Hum’.
Talking more, Ajay informed that Milan Luthria's film in which he is acting is also an action movie. He feels that people will love to see him back in action films. Ajay Devgan said that his entry balanced between two speeding cars in ‘Golmaal Returns’ has been appreciated much by the people as it reminds them of his first film ‘Phool Aur Kante’.
Ajay Devgan said that his directorial action venture will have some unusual stunts which will be loved by the cine-goers. Ajay Devgan stated that in early days performing action stunt was much difficult. But now with the introduction of new technique and technology, the stunts have become safer. Now-a-days if an actor has to jump from the fifth floor he is harnessed.
