Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is expected to join the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan as a producer with Imtiaz Ali Khan’s 'Love Aaj Kal'. The movie starring Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan will hit screens by next month. Apart from playing the lead role in the film, Saif Ali Khan has also played his part as the producer.
Commenting on his debut as a producer, the actor said that his desire to know the business of Bollywood has urged him to take up the new role. Saif stated that he is interested in the creative part of the production while the business part will be looked after by his partner Dinesh Vijan. The 'Salaam Namaste' star said that initially he was not ready for the task, but later decided against it as wanted to own his work.
Saif Ali Khan informed that he learnt a lot about production from banners like Yash Raj or Dharma productions. In addition to it, directors like Karan Johar and Farhan Akhtar also helped him, added the actor. 'Love Aaj Kal' will be Saif Ali Khan's first film as a producer after 18 years of acting career. He also plays a double role in the film. Saif said that he shared a good on-screen chemistry with Deepika in the film.
