 Golmaal Returns |
The anticipation surrounding 'Golmaal Returns' is going to end soon. The movie is all set for e release, on 29th October 2008. A sequel to the 2006 comic-hit 'Golmaal', the movie promises to entertain you much more than before. The powerful star cast, comprising of Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Celina Jaitley, Amrita Arora, Murli Sharma, Vrajesh Hirjee, Mukesh Tiwari, Ram Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, has only added to the expectations from the new 'Golmaal', rather 'Golmaal Returns'.
'Golmaal Returns' is the story of Gopal (Ajay Devgan), his wife Ekta (Kareena Kapoor), sister Esha (Amrita Arora) and dim-witted brother-in-law Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor). One day, Gopal saves a gorgeous woman Meera (Celina Jaitly) from hoodlums and ends up getting stuck with her, on a yacht, for the whole night. As he comes back home in the morning, his wife Ekta, a die-hard fan of saas-bahu serials, eyes him suspiciously. Knowingly fully well that she won't understand his situation; he cooks up a false story about his absence.
Gopal tells Ekta that he stayed wife his friend Anthony Gonsalves and ends up giving her a fabricated address of the fictitious 'Anthony'. Ekta, distrustful and still not ready to believe his story, writes to Anthony on the conjured-up address and invites him home. When Gopal comes to know of this fact, he asks his junior in office, Laxman (Shreyas Talpade) to don the role of 'Anthony', in his false story, and come to meet his wife, removing her suspicion forever. Reluctantly, Laxman agrees to help Gopal and comes to his house as Anthony.
Everything seems to be going according to plan. Suddenly, some person named Anthony Gonsalves turns up (the fictitious address given by Gopal turned out to be real after all) and chaos returns. As if that wasn't enough, a dead body is discovered at the place where Gopal has saved Meera. Madhav (Arshad Warsi), Esha’s boyfriend, investigates the case and seems to regard Gopal as the convict. Throughout the movie, Gopal says one lie after the other, creating hilarious chaos and senseless humor. But, how will he save himself now?
