Hrithik Roshan |
Bollywood’s heartthrob actor Hrithik Roshan is expected to enact Amitabh Bachchan in the remake of movie ‘Agneepath’. Reports are on that director Karan Johar is considering to remake the movie with Hrithik in the lead role. Karan wants Hrithik to play the character of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in the remake version.
Big B-starrer ‘Agneepath’ was produced by Karan's father Yash Johar and it is remembered as one of the biggest hits of Amitabh's career. Big B’s performance in the film won him his first National Award. Earlier Shah Rukh Khan had played Amitabh Bachchan in the remake of ‘Don. Karan Johar has decided to rope in Hrithik instead of SRK because it is believed that ‘KKHH’ star did not fit well into Big B's shoes.
The remake of ‘Agneepath’ will be directed by Karan Malhotra. As per industry sources, Karan Johar is considering to keep the original dialogues in the movie as they were more appealing. Yash Johar’s ‘Agneepath’ also has Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, and Rohini Hattangadi, with Danny Dengzongpa as the villain. Mithun Chakraborty won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for his performace in the film.
