Imran Khan |
Bollywood’s young-gun Imran Khan is reportedly working as an assistant director in Sanjay Gadhvi’s upcoming flick ‘7 Days in Paris’. Sources confirmed that Imran Khan has deeply involved himself in the project and has been writing the script and deciding the locales with Gadhvi. Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif opted out of the film after her role was reduced drastically by Imran Khan.
As per sources, Katrina was expecting to play the lead role in ‘7 Days in Paris’ along with Imran but after finding the changes in the script she bowed out. After Katrina’s refusal Kareena Kapoor was asked to play the role but she also showed her back. Now the buzz is that Imran Khan has recommended to rope in Genelia D’- Souza and Asin for the project. Genelia was Imran’s co-star in his debut film ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’.
Industry sources also informed that director Sanjay Gadhvi has no problems with Imran Khan and supports actor’s instincts and judgment. Imran Khan must have been inspired by his uncle Aamir Khan but ‘The Perfectionist’ went on to direct ‘Taare Zameen Par’ after working as an actor for two decades. Considering that it can be said that it is too early for Imran to become a director. After his successfully debut in ‘Jaane Tu…’, Imran Khan’s next film ‘Kidnap’ could not impress the cine-goers.
