Veteran actor Anupam Kher, got the surprise of his life when artist Geeta Dass organized a star studded painting exhibition on the life of the actor. Geeta has made 17 paintings which show his Bollywood journey from the starting of his career.
Geeta just took a month to complete his seventeen paintings and she cheerfully adds, “Whenever I met Anupam, I observed that along with being a fine actor, he has a very pure soul as well. His smile was like a child, his purity touched my heart, so I thought I must paint him.”
On the occasion, Anupam Kher, wife Kiron Kher, son Sikander Kher and brother Raju Kher were present, where Anupam also launched his new company.Delighted to see Geeta’s painting, he adds, “It's a big day for me, Geeta Dass did not paint me as a hero. She portrayed my failures in the exhibition. That's what I liked."
Anupam though known more of a comedian actor, has also worked in serious films like ‘Saraansh’ and ‘Mainey Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara’. Amitabh Bachhan also graced the occasion and launched the brochures of Anupam’s new company.
Big B also adds, “I'm very happy to see these paintings. Also I'm very happy that Anupam has collected all his ventures in this brochure, we should learn a lot from him.”

The star studded evening was graced by the presence of Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, Boney Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Vipul Shah and his wife Shefali Shah, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Sajid Khan, Sanjay Gadhvi, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Pritish Nandy and Satish Kaushik.
