The most surprising development in actor Shiney Ahuja’s case is that the maid who had filed the case of rape against the actor last year is now denying that she was raped by the actor. She has told in her statement to the court that he never raped her.
The 20 years old domestic servant adds that she had framed false charges on the actor on the instructions of the woman who got her the job with the Ahuja’s.
The public prosecutor says she has now been declared a hostile witness. The trial will continue as there are other witnesses and evidences to support the charges.
Shiney was arrested last year on June 14 on the basis of rape charges in his Oshiwara residence, Mumbai. The actor spent three months in jail after getting bail on October 1.
The actor has pleaded not guilty to the charges and in fact said he was ready to face the trial.
He had denied the rape charges and told that at the most the act could be termed as a consensual sex but not rape.

The next hearing on Shiney’s case is on September 15, but it is speculated that he can still be punished on the basis of the other evidences. Even the maid can face punishment if her latest statements turn out to be false.
