Vivek Oberoi Mobbed By Fans Vivek Oberoi |
Vivek Oberoi visited the outskirts of the national capital for CSR event promotion, but he remained locked in a room for hours as a huge fan crowd emerged to just catch a glimpse of the actor.
Cathay Pacific and Habitat for Humanity launched a CSR event in Bawana village on the outskirts of Delhi, but to Vivek’s surprise some enthusiastic guys and girls thronged inside the tiny community centre to see him.
Vivek was supposed to lay foundation bricks for three houses, but the crowd of his fans made any outdoor happening impossible, as a result Vivek was locked in a room for hours to avoid the charging fans!
Vivek reveals, “I was outside interacting, when the mob increased in number and I was dragged in. I am holed up in here, don't know when I'll be able to get out. My car is just fifty feet away but the way towards it is packed with people.”
He added further, "You have to constantly tell yourself that it is all because they love you. I enjoy the attention but sometimes the situation gets a little out of hand.”
Ashish Kapur from Cathay Pacific adds, “We anticipated some crowd to gather, but had not expected such a large turnout. We've had other house-building events before, but this is the first time we have encountered such a thing.”
Vivek recently got married to Bangalore based girl Priyanka Alva in a grand ceremony and he is now settled in his residence in Mumbai.
