Toyota India came up with its new invention of the Corolla Altis CNG at the Auto Expo 2010. Toyota got the CNG kit fitted into its model after the Innova's CNG model. Owing to the popularity of the Altis, Toyota manufacturers expect the CNG variant to increase the appeal and demand of the Altis in Indian Market. Altis CNG is exactly the same as Altis only for the difference in the attachment of CNG kit which adds slightly to the weight of the vehicle.

 

Altis CNG is more eco-friendly and economical than the original Altis and contributes for more mileage. You can expect a steep cut down in emissions which will help towards building a greener and cleaner environment.

 

Presence of CNG kit helps the vehicle to have a better performance at low cost. Since it does not produce any spark it prevents the CNG from the formation of any particle. CNG contributes significantly to fight against global warming. Since ignition temperature of CNG is higher than liquid fuels, chances of spontaneous flammability are low and thus accidents can be safely prevented.
