According to sources, Raj Kumar Santoshi had planned to rope in Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan for his forthcoming musical, London Dreams, which has Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan in lead roles.
Speculation is rife that Santoshi had even discussed the project with the two together for three nights.
According to reports, “In principle both actors loved the script, said they wanted to go home and sleep over it before they started principal photography. But for months on end, Raj Santoshi chased both actors independently and neither of them reverted”.
After this incident, he finally decided on Ajay and Salman as the lead characters.
At one point of time, Aamir who was on the sets of 3 idiots left the people dumbfounded when he mentioned that he and Shah Rukh have shared screen space. “You guys have missed a moment in film history. Shah Rukh and I were together in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘Pehla Nasha’ way back in 1993 where we gave one shot in the same frame.’’
