Nissan Motor’s July Sales At 1,005 Units, Micra Pushes Sales  Nissan Micra |
Nissan Motor India’s total sales for July were at 1,005 units, with the ‘Nissan Micra’ model pushing the number with its massive sales, the company reported.
The recently launched Micra made up to about 928 units of the total sales of 1,005 units. Meanwhile, the luxury vehicle Nissan Teana witnessed sales of 27 units during the period under review, the company said.
"Out of the remaining, Nissan Teana, the luxury sedan (CBU) clocked 27 units and SVU Nissan X-trail registered sales of 50 units," Nissan Motor said in a statement.
But there were only 17 units of Teana and eight units of X-trail sold during the like period last year.
Nissan Micra was launched in the mid of July across the nation and has so far obtained over 3,000 pre-bookings.
The car comes in three variants including XE- the base model, XL- the mid-level model and XV- the high-end variant, which ranges between Rs. 3.98 lakh and Rs. 5.28 (ex showroom New Delhi).
