Nandita Das Turns Down Offer To Work In Deepa Mehta’s Next  Nandita Das |
Nandita Das reportedly opted out of Deepa Mehta’s upcoming movie which is based on Salman Rushdie’s ‘Midnight’s Children’. She took this decision for her son Vivaan who is just six months old.
She was offered the lead role in the movie. However, Nandita now has other priorities in life as she is a mother. Nandita Das has even been offered to do a cameo in the movie but, Nandita turned down that too.
A source quoted Nandita saying, “That didn`t make sense as it would have been neither here nor there. I would have felt quite torn.”
Though it is reported that Nandita and Deepa had some problems in the past over the movie Water, but, they have cleared the air between them.
