Pretty actress Preity Zinta will be back to B-Town but, this time she will be seen performing much a matured role. She has reportedly signed Mahesh Manjrekar’s White.

 

Preity said about her role, “I can’t be doing the bubbly dimpled babe all my life.” White is more of a drama which describes the phases and experiences faced by a woman as she ages from youth to old age.

 

Interestingly, when Preity was offered the role she reportedly asked Manjrekar, “Why me? Why not Tabu who is your favourite actress?”

 

Preity added, “At this stage of my career I need new challenges. Luckily, directors can see beyond my chirpy I’m-so-happy image.”

 

Preity Zinta’s last Bollywood venture included Deepa Mehta’s Heaven on Earth. Fans of this bubbly and beautiful actress will be thrilled to see the actress again on silver screen.
