The announcement has travelled as a shock to the film production team, as the news came up only 2 days before the final wind up of the film. The film is said to touch some racial discrimination issues against India in Australia, which is believed to be the reason for the ban.

It is also assumed that there would be much controversy at the time of releasing the movie. The team members of the film are really disheartened and dismayed, as they were just on the verge of completing the movie.

As per the unit members, after the completing the remaining 2 day work, only minute works were remaining to be done to give a finishing touch to the film.

They stated that “It was very disheartening for all of us to come back without completing the shoot of Crook. The idea was to wrap it up all and then come back to India mainly for post production and other patch work, if required. However, we were stopped from shooting which threw a spanner in our plans."

Adding to the present waves of trouble, an unfortunate accident took place on the sets, which resulted into a broken camera.

As per a unit member “"Well, our worry now is around completing the pending portions of the film now. It has been a straight loss of two days of shooting. Though procuring dates from all involved may not be that tough, we may have to change certain sequences in the film. Reason being that there is no intention of going back to Australia which means that the scenes, which were originally written for that part of the world, may have to go through some changes. Now we would have to hunt for some indoor locations within Mumbai to finish the shoot."

The team will hunt for certain locations in Mumbai for the pending shooting scenes. The film is set to release in September or October with a debut of Neha Sharma and Arjan Bajwa.
