After hearing the winning news, Rampal added", We are going to party tonight at my house. We are going to start now, as a part of celebration." He celebrated the occasion with the team of "Rock on!" and other noted film personalities at his house
In this 56th National Film Awards, Arjun Rampal has won the best supporting actor in ‘Rock on’, which had left him elated and emotional.
Basically the story of ‘Rock On!’ is about five band stars who had chucked up their dream of taking their band professional and then once again after ten years later they reunite to complete their most cherished dream in music. Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli and Luke Kenny played the lead roles in the film.
Everyone in family and the team of ‘Rock On!’ were left very emotional; Arjun stated "It's a real honour and a wonderful feeling. It's a big one. It's a very emotional moment for everybody in my family. It was same for my friends and whole team of 'Rock On!' as well.’
Regarding his wife, he said, " I won't tell you whether she cried or not, but definitely she became very, very emotional."
Arjun broke the barriers of method acting in Bollywood and allowed his work to speak without pitching aloud for his work.
In 'Rock On!’ Arjun acted as a struggling guitarist known as Joe Mascaren, which left a powerful impact on his audience.
He had worked in few of the hit movies like ‘Ankhen’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’ and ‘Om Shanti Om.’
Celebrities who came to congratulate him are Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and other noted film personalities.
