Unpopular Bosnian actress, Zana Marjanovic soon hogged headlines for starring as the lead actress in Angelina Jolie’s directorial debut movie which revolves around the romance of Serbian man and Bosnian woman during the 1992-95 Bosnian war.
"I can confirm my new exciting engagement in the first film directed by Angelina Jolie in which I will have the lead role," Zana Marjanovic confirmed.
Zana Marjanovic who hails from Sarajevo has starred in two Bosnian feature films but shot to fame after starring in Bosnian director Aida Begic’s ‘Snow’. The actress is very excited with her new venture and while talking to media disclosed the details of the flick.
The actress said, "The story is very complex but is primarily a love story.”
Meanwhile, the 27-year old beauty has all the praises for Jolie as she says, "Angelina is a wonderful person and it is a great honor for me to work with such a superb actress and humanist. At the moment I am so excited because of this opportunity that I have no time to think about what comes next."
According to the insiders, Jolie’s directorial piece has the total budget of almost $15 million.
