Vishal Bharadwaj, who has gained critical acclaim from his movies, has fallen in love with Shakespeare’s famous play ‘Hamlet’ and he is eying the ‘Guzaarish’ super-hit Jodi to enact in it.

 

It seems Vishal’s inspiration had always been William Shakespeare, ‘Omkara’ was inspired by the writer’s work of fiction ‘Othello’ and ‘Maqbool’ was inspired again by Shakespeare ‘Macbeth’.

 

Now, the director wants to make a film based on play ‘Hamlet’ and wants to take Hrithik in the role of Prince of Denmark and Aishwarya as ‘Ophelia’. The director once also mentioned that he would love to take up Shakespeare’s adaption’s in his films.

 

A close source adds further, “He has indeed gone to Aishwarya and Hrithik with ‘Hamlet’. He is charged about doing the last of his Shakespearean trilogy. In the past, he has approached both Hrithik and Aishwarya. Somehow things haven`t worked out. This time, he`s determined to make it."
