Toshiba is all set to release its Toshiba Folio 100 tablet in March 2011, according to a source. The tablet computer comes with Android 2.2 or Froyo without access to the Android Market.
The tablet was almost a failure model when it was released in 2010. Many of the Folio 100 tablets were returned when released in 2010. Let’s hope Toshiba will not disappoint us this time.
The Toshiba tablet has a 10.1 inches touch-screen and equips 720p HD video on its 1280x800 display.
“Try a seamless experience across entertainment, social networking and mobile internet: your FOLIO 100 is your personal media tablet for making the most of life anywhere,” Toshiba says on its website.
Designed with sleek chassis with just 14mm, the tablet supports NVIDIA Tegra 250 mobile processor. There are other prominent features that are pretty attractive, a 4-finger multi-touch widescreen display webcam 1.3M, 16GB memory, Flash 10.1 support, MMC/ SD media slot and USB 2.0.
