Scosche has announced its new portable battery backup or charger-goBat II that can be used for charging handheld devices. The interesting thing in the device is that if a user is travelling with more than one gadget, then he or she can get those devices charged from the battery while on-the-go.
The goBat II device hosts two USB ports for charging handheld devices like smartphones or tablets. Besides this, there is a 10-watt port dedicated to charging devices with larger power requirements. While smaller devices like iPhone, BlackBerry, iPod Touch and other smartphones can be charged with the 5-watt port.
The device is capable of charging two gadgets simultaneously. In all, it would take eight hours to completely charge the battery .
