LG Optimus Pad |
LG Optimus Pad, which was officially confirmed by the company yesterday at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011, will come priced at a whopping 999 Euros in Germany.
The price is much higher than Apple’s iPad and recently launched Motorola’s Xoom. Yet, one notable aspect is that the LG Optimus Pad will come without SIM. This is, however, the price to be charged only in European countries. It is still not clear as to how much the device would cost in other countries.
LG Optimus Pad, which is seen as the perfect contender for Apple’s iPad and Motorola Xoom, could lose its edge because of the higher price.
With 8.9 inches, LG Optimus Pad, reportedly, has a 1280 x 768 WXGA resolution display with 15:9 aspect ratio. The tablet will run on Google’s latest Android version Honeycomb OS and will be powered by 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor.
