Cheryl Cole is now officially the ex-wife of love rat Ashley Cole and her friends including Simon Cowell has all the praises for the British singer’s spirit and bravery in coping up with the split.
Cheryl Cole and Ashley separated after Ashley’s infidelities were exposed and finally on Friday the divorce of the couple was settled. Simon who is known to be the closest friend of Cole revealed that he had been in constant touch with the star.
Cheryl Cole went through lot this year as after coping with the split with Ashley she was seriously ill and was hospitalised for malaria.
"We have spoken a lot, and now she has got a sense of perspective on life,” Simon was quoted as saying.
"In a weird way this has helped manage her life better. I think she is going to appreciate what she has and enjoy it more.
"I am not even putting the personal stuff into this as well. You have to deal with that and I don`t know how she coped with that to be honest," he added.
