The bad press that Lindsay has gotten this year is a big obstacle for her to gain acceptance for her small role in the today releasing movie ‘Machete’. One has to wait and see if the defamed actress is able to re-build her lost image again or not.
Lindsay did not show up at the premier of the movie which stars Danny Trejo and Steven Seagel in the lead roles; it is directed by Robert Rodriguez.
Sources add, "Lindsay had been asked not to be there because her personal problems would distract from the actual film."
LiLo has given few jaw dropping scenes in the movies including the one in which she is shown naked for quite a long time and other one being when her father picks her up from a drug den.
Sources reveal about her role in the movie, “In this movie, she has threesomes with her mother; she's naked for a big chunk of time. She has a scene where her father picks her up from a drug den. So, it's really hard to separate her real life and her acting right there.”
Meanwhile, her co-stars of 'Machete' also believes that the movie will definitely be a comeback for the troubled actress as she will be seen giving a razor sharp performance in the movie.
Jessica Alba, Lohan's 'Machete' co-star, said, "She's so good, she's amazing in the movie. Everyone's going to love this film."
Robert Rodriguez, director of the film, said, "I can't wait for people to see it, because it'll remind them, 'Oh yeah, there's an actress behind all the distractions and the paparazzi.' That's why she got there to begin with."
Lohan had the worst time of her life less than a year ago following her long lasting legal troubles. She was given a sentence of 90 days in Jail, but she served only a fraction of it.
Her last movie was back in the year 2007, titled ‘I Know Who Killed Me’, but unluckily it was one of the biggest flops of the year.
