Sanjay Dutt Replies Back To Shakil Noorani With Extortion Allegation Sanjay Dutt |
Sanjay Dutt whose Pali Hill flat and Santacruz office has been attached on Tuesday is ready to fight back as his lawyers charged producer Shakil Noorani of extortion.
Shakil Noorani claimed that Dutt is responsible for his loss of Rs. 2 crore because he left his movie halfway and stopped working for it.
Noorani's allegation resulted in the attachment of Dutt’s Pali Hill flat and Santacruz office located in Mumbai. Noorani's lawyers also told Dutt that if Noorani is not reimbursed in a month’s time then his properties would be auctioned.
Rizwan Merchant, Dutt's lawyer said that Dutt will challenge the producer’s claim because the producer does not have any money to be reimbursed from Dutt.
Sanjay Dutt has been asked to reimburse the money along with Rs. 50 lakh which was paid to him as the signing amount for Noorani’s movie within a time of 90 days by the Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association (IMPPA) which is the arbitrator. However, when Dutt didn’t act according to the order, his property was attached.
