Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a great historical figure and if there is anyone who can at least act like him, then it is Sanjay Dutt. He has done almost every kind of role till date and now he is going to play the most challenging role of his career.

However, the confirmation is not yet given by the movie producers and directors. The delay in the confirmation is caused due to the busy schedules of Sanju babu.

Soham Shah the director of the film says, “For now, I will say that I can never imagine making a film without Sanjay Dutt. I am here only by his support and guidance. I can think of working on a big project like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj only because of his support and trust. Right now, I am preparing to direct a movie for Sanjay Dutt Productions. I will start working on the Shivaji project only after completing this one.”
