Samsung Mesmerize is set to hit the US market starting this 27 October, sources said.
While Samsung’s Galaxy models are gaining huge popularity in the smartphone market, Samsung’s Mesmerize is also expected to become a successful model.
“Customers told us they want access to the newest phones and the Samsung Mesmerize is an impressive Android-powered device for people who want to stay connected to work, entertainment and the people who matter most to them,” Edward Perez, vice president of marketing and sales operations for U.S. Cellular was quoted as saying.
The phone comes with a 4 inches wide touch-screen, virtual QWERTY keyboard, 5 mega pixels camera.
Sources say the device is equipped with the Android 2.1 platform. Besides, the other features include Bluetooth 3.0, MP3 player, Wi-Fi, Samsung’s Social Hub and a 32GB expandable memory.
“Our new Belief Plans are value-packed for customers who talk, text and need frequent access to data, and all of our phones are backed by our nationwide 3G network,” he added.
The Samsung Mesmerize also offers Google Mobile Services including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, Google Talk and YouTube.
