According to an official announcement, Samsung Galaxy U is to be released in South Korea as the SHW-M130L. The ‘Galaxy U’ naming is evident from the ‘Unique’ design and features of the model.
The Galaxy U is cool in features including a 3.7-inch 16M AMOLED Plus touchscreen and many more things like 5MP autofocus camera with 720p HD video recording, MicroSD card slot up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack. Interestingly, the users can get 8GB of memory card free with the set.
The cellphone is powered by a 1500 mAh battery and runs Android OS. There is a 1GHz S5PC111 processor for faster applications. It supports a wide range of audio and video formats like MP3, MP, WAV, WMA, OGG, AAC, MID, MIDI, FLAC, 3GP, 3GPP, K3G, Divx, Avi, Mkv, flv and asf. The compatible networks include J-CDMA, CDMA Rev. A and T-DMB.
More to it, the Samsung SHW-M130L is available in two colour options like black and white. This Android phone is also flooded with various apps like OZ Store, Kyobo e-book, Daum maps, Allshare and Live wallpapers. Users can also access to Google services and download the chosen applications.
The Galaxy U handset is available for 800,00 won ($682).
