'Raavan’ And ‘Kites’ Adds To A Huge Loss  Aishwarya Rai |
Bollywood is a gamble for the film producers, they wonder whether their huge investments would result into anything profitable or not. The most sought out films, have added to the biggest losses.
Kites and Raavan have given a very harsh blow to the common producer, Reliance Big Pictures. The movies have not done well and have proved like a cyclone after a storm.
As per sources, Reliance Big Pictures have lost a huge amount of 100 crore in the bargain for the movies.
Trade analyst, Amod Mehra confirms this news and says, “I am sure the loss is more than Rs 100 crore. It is a huge loss for the company, which expected a lot from the two big movies. It's difficult for Big to make more than Rs 50 crore from Raavan, including the Tamil version. So that means a clear loss of Rs 50 to 60 crore there. Earlier with Kites they lost about Rs 60 crore.”
Big time producers like Reliance Big Pictures, can’t just take a blind fold risk, but the only reason which has contributed to their loss is the unpredictability. Bollywood is all about unpredictable myths and the drastic reasons which add to it.
