Mr. & Mrs. Singh Is An Overdose Of Nudity Aruna Shields |
Mr. & Mrs. Singh is all about stepping out of the marital wedlock and getting into relationships because of forced circumstances. It is an overdose of nudity with 34 kisses and unexpected bold scenes.
The movie has undoubtedly created a lot of buzz in Bollywood because of its hot scene composition and bold story write-up. This movie also marks the directorial debut of Pravesh Bhardwaj. His creation is all about marital betrayal due to force or choice.
The movie is releasing the coming Friday and it has Prashant Narayanan and British-Indian actress Aruna Shields in the lead roles. Apart from the main characters, the movie also has Lucy Hassan and Naved Aslam. The music is given by grammy awards nominee Ustad Shujaat Hussain Khan.
The story revolves around breaking the marital wedlock and betrayal. In the movie, Prashant (Ashwin) and Aruna (Neera) come to know that their respective spouses are cheating on them. In fury and helplessness, both of them discover a good friendship in each other.
Although, Neera and Ashwin never want to indulge into a relationship, but they end up in becoming lovers.
The most shocking part of the movie comes when, Neera sheds her clothes for a painting. It gave rise to many conflicting views from the members of the Censor Board. The 34 kisses in the movie have further heated up the scene. As a result, the movie passed with a A-certificate from the Censor Board.
The director, Bharadwaj adds on this, “I have tried to portray on reel what happens in real life. I think audiences are mature enough to understand it. This is not the first time when an actress has bared all for a movie. People have accepted it earlier and I am hopeful they will accept it in my film too.”
Prashant further adds,“I wanted to do the film as I found the script challenging. Filming for the movie was difficult because it had different requirements. It was not easy to stand in front of a nude woman who I barely knew. It was even uncomfortable for her (Aruna) but at the end we managed to give our best shots.”
Aruna marked her debut in Bollywood from the movie ‘Prince’.
