Priyanka Was Scared To Act In ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’  Priyanka Chopra |
‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ is one of the most critical and tough roles of Priyanka’s career till now. She confesses that she was scared before taking up this role, as it deals with a huge task of killing seven husbands and portraying oneself from the age of 25 years to 65 years.
Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ is based on Ruskin Bond’s short story ‘Susanna’s Seven Husbands’ and it is a movie which has its own appeal and unique story lineup.
While, Priyanka adds, “The film is a black comedy and Vishal`s version of humor. It`s a very incredible film and a challenge for me. I was scared when he chose me to do the film. It`s been a very difficult experience since I am portraying a wide age graph from a 25-year-old to a 65-year-old woman.”
Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the role of the youngest husband, while Naseeruddin Shah is her oldest hubby and for the first time, she will be seen romancing an old actor, Naseeruddin in this movie. Right from the age of 25 years, Priyanka gets involved in the murder of her every husband and at last, the number becomes seven.
While, Priyanka jokes at this and quips, “Isn`t it every woman`s dream to kill her husband?”
She also tells that she is glad that she is in this glamour industry; else she was supposed to become an aeronautical engineer after attending school!
Priyanka reveals, “I am a multi -tasker and I get bored doing one thing. I am always involved with a billion things and really enjoy my work. I didn`t know I`ll be an actor as I was going to be an aeronautical engineer after school. I`ve been fortunate enough to be given opportunities, work with best of directors and best co-stars. I don`t think of tomorrow. That`s boring.”
She will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Anjaana-Anjaani’ and Anurag Basu’s ‘Silence’. She is also set to begin her shooting for the sequel of ‘Don 2’ with SRK.
