Hollywood icon Nicolas Cage has agreed to star in Simon West’s next project Medallion. In the action adventure, Cage will be portraying the role of a reformed conman.
The recent reports informed that it is an ambitious project of West and he has been working on it for a quite a long time.
Medallion tells the story of a former thief who has few hours to find his kidnapped daughter.
Cage and West have earlier worked together in 1997 release Con Air which was a blockbuster hit at the box office. The movie was also nominated for Academy Awards for Best Song and Best Sound however losing to Titanic in both categories.
The 46-year old actor will soon be seen in Dominic Sena’s supernatural thriller film, Season of the Witch. It is slated to hit the silver screens on January 7 2011.
