Hollywood starlet Natalie Portman is expecting her first child with fiance choreographer Benjamin Millepied. The actress began dating ballet dancer Benjamin in 2009 after they met on the set of Portman's latest film Black Swan, for which Millepied served as a choreographer.
Portman’s representative on Monday confirmed the news saying that the pair is engaged and expecting their first child together in 2011. However, the publicist declined to comment on pair’s marriage plans or any further details.
The 29-year-old actress attracted world attention this year with her outstanding performance in psychological thriller Black Swan. In the movie Portman portrays the role of a ballet dancer. She has also been nominated in the best actress category by the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Millepied, 33 is a principal dancer at New York City Ballet and a ballet choreographer of international reputation.
Benjamin also played the part of Kunis and Portman's dance partner in Darren Aronofsky’s flick. He didn't have very many lines, but when asked about acting he had said, "I really, really got into it...I was blown away—especially by Natalie, who was amazing to watch".
