Milenge Milenge Review: Milenge Milenge Movie Review Milenge Milenge |
Director: Satish Kaushik
Star cast: Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Satish Shah, Delnaz Paul, Aarti Chabria, Kiron Kher.
When director Satish Kaushik would have decided to sign then couple Kareena Kapoor & Shahid Kapoor to star in his romantic comedy flick ‘Milenge Milenge’ he must have not thought what a big gamble he is about to play. The movie was always in headlines but for all the wrong reasons.
It will be appropriate to say that Milenge ‘Milenge’ which is made way back in 2005 doesnot stand a chance in front of recently released youth flick, ‘I Hate Love Storys’. The movie is a complete disaster and has nothing new to offer. It is terribly predictable and in short boring.
Kareena Kapoor (Priya) a young and highly romantic girl is in search of her Mr. Right and ends up meeting a tarot card reader, psychic Sunita Rao (Kirron Kher). Sunita predicts that Priya will meet her dream men in next 7 days, at 7am, and his guy will be in 7 colors clothes. Excited to meet her men, Priya attends Youth Festival in Bangkok and finds Amit (Shahid Kapoor) a rich showy guy who likes to party, drink and flirts around with girls. Uffff!!! so boring and common.
And from here a typical Bollywood masala starts with some predictable dialogues and sequences.
Milenge Milenge is an old fashioned movie and those who are excited to see Kareena’s much popular size zero figure will leave the theatres with disappointment while Shahid is also looking much younger compared to what he looks now.
The main attraction of the movie is just that Bebo and Shahid will be seen on-screen again after their much hyped breakup. Else, the movie is simple and ordinary.
The music of Himesh Reshamiya is doing fine on the charts and audience will love to see him as a music director.
This movie is only for the fans who want to see the chemistry of Shahid-Kareena after ‘Jab We Met’.
