World is going crazy to know the reason of singer Mariah Carey’s sudden weight gain and is speculating that she is hiding something from her fans. Few months back it was reported that Carrey is in the family way with husband Nick Cannon and now the buzz is loud that she expecting a baby boy.
However, the pair has not yet confirmed the media reports but it is believed that they will soon announce the news.
According to sources, Carey’s superstitious nature is stopping her from confirming the pregnancy news.
"She`s having a boy, but the reason that Mariah didn`t want to say anything is because she is 40, and she`s superstitious. But she`s going to appear on `Oprah` and `The View`, so she`s planning on making the announcement soon," said a source.
The source further continued saying that the beauty stopped consuming alcohol earlier this year and her fertility treatment is the reason behind her sudden weight gain.
"The fertility drugs were the reason for her weight gain earlier this year. She stopped drinking back in March or April,” the source added.
