LiMo Compliant Handsets From Else, Panasonic And NEC Revealed At MWC  Panasonic P-01B |
The Mobile World Congress is going great this year with the launch of many brands. And now, LiMo Foundation has revealed new LiMo compliant handsets from cellphone manufacturers like Panasonic Mobile Communications, Else and NEC.
The recently revealed LiMo Compliant mobile phones come with nice features like keypad-to-touchpad conversion, waterproofing, extended battery life and high-megapixel auto-focus cameras.
According to information, these handsets are ideal for mobile phone enthusiasts because of the sleek look and neatly packed features. Reliable performance is also notable that can woo the customer.
NEC has unveiled three LiMo models for NTT DoCoMo here at Mobile World Congress.
N-01B is a slim handset and designed for the fashion-conscious people. Famed design house STNY has added inputs to this stylish phone. The phone comes in various colour options and boasts of many intelligent features including a 8.1MP camera.
N-02B is the second set from the company to have a slew of features like 12.2MP camera with quick shooting capability, automatic scene identification and high-speed connectivity for uploading images.
The next one is the DoCoMo N-03B, which sports a 3.2 inch WVGA screen and a built-in pedometer. There is also an 8.1 MP camera with activate ECO mode for the camera enthusiasts.
“We welcome the arrival of these innovative new devices which attest to the richness and versatility of LiMo Platform. The continued growth of LiMo devices is further endorsement of LiMo’s vision, mission, and technologies,” explained Morgan Gillis, executive director of the LiMo Foundation.
“These newest handsets demonstrate the effectiveness of the LiMo Platform as a springboard for innovation and differentiation in an increasingly crowded marketplace. The market-proven technologies found in the LiMo Platform represent unequaled opportunity for extended value for the entire mobile ecosystem – from operators to handset vendors to mobile consumers,” revealed Kiyohito Nagata of NTT DoCoMo, Chairman of LiMo Foundation.
Similarly, Panasonic also adds three models like P-01B, P-02B and P-01B handsets for NTT DoCoMo.
The P-01B model is a Viera phone complete with a touchpad, a built-in high-speed auto-focus camera and is packed with multimedia technologies like games, audio, video and many other forms of entertainment.
The P-02B handset is a slider phone also looks stylish with a touchscreen-operated camera. The phone is also a stylish phone. Next one, the P-03B is a slim phone having one of the longest battery lives amongst FOMA models. This smart phone is basically designed for the customers who are looking to improve their professional and private lives.
The Else Intuition mobile phone from Else Ltd. is also a LiMo compliant device having user-friendly features. The handset offers better functionality in its design and features too.
However, the pricing and availability of these models are yet to be disclosed.
