Acer Liquid 'e' Handset Announced At Mobile World Congress Acer Liquid 'e' |
Acer has forayed into the world of smartphone by introducing Liquid ‘e’ phone at the Mobile World Congress. The company claims it to be the smartest phone from the company.
The Acer Liquid ‘e’ handset sports a 3.5-inch WVGA display and has 256 MB of RAM to compensate data storage requirements. Plus the multitouch support makes it’s a nice set.
However, the device comes with an underpowered 768 MHz processor and runs with Android 2.1 operating system. Still, we can hope for better functionalities from the company. Acer Liquid ‘e’ has also incorporated the usual features like GPS, b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and an accelerometer.
For the mobile geeks, there is a 5MP camera with autofocus. But, the set is not as impressive as that of the last Liquid model. Hopefully, the shortcomings will be addressed in the next release.
