Australian singer Kylie Minogue is teaming up with stylist-turned-West End art director William Baker to turn her chartbuster tracks into a musical. The singer confirmed the reports and said that the musical will be the interpretation of her music.
"Yes, William Baker and I are working on getting the story written. I'm comfortable because it's not my life story; it's about the interpretation of my music," she confirmed.
Kylie Minogue, 41 rose to fame with her first single ‘Locomotion’ which spent seven weeks at number one on the Australian singles chart and became the highest selling single of the decade.
This is not the first time that any singer’s tracks will be turned into a musical. Earlier, Swedish pop band Abba's iconic tracks were transformed into hugely popular stage show ‘Mamma Mia!’ and then adapted for the big screen where Meryl Streep played the lead role.
