John Still Loves To Walk The Ramp John Abraham |
John recently walked the ramp for eminent fashion designer Rohit Bal at the Van Heusen India’s Men Fashion. He shares his experience and says that he feels good while walking the ramp and the feeling has become better now as he is a super-star now.
John says that he loves the time when he was a full-time model and adds, “Once I am on the runway, I am immersed in the spirit of it and I love the space, the buzzing energy.”
But he added that one shouldn’t be walking the ramp for 24/7 as it would gradually dilute one’s presence and people would not notice you much. John walked the runway for Rohit with ease and grace.
He says that being a superstar adds to one’s presence on the ramp and in a way one can steal the spot light of the show. He also says that the models feel resentful in such situations as they get hardly noticed.
He also narrates an incident when he was a model, “I remember when I was a model, during a show; a big star who I wouldn’t name now, was the showstopper. I was very bluntly told by the designer to stay ten steps away from the star. It felt a little odd, but I didn’t take it as an ego issue.”
