John Abraham Joins ‘Bombay Velvet’ John Abraham |
The joint venture of acclaimed directors Danny Boyle and Anurag Kashyap ‘Bombay Velvet’ is getting bigger and better with dashing John Abraham joining the ace Khans Aamir and Shah Rukh for the film.
The eye candy John Abraham’s presence in the film has been confirmed. Earlier reports claimed that Aamir Khan had replaced him in the movie.
Hyped as international epic, the film is stated to be a three-segment drama. According to reports Shah Rukh is playing the protagonist in the first while John and Aamir will star in the second and the third segments.
According to sources, after ‘No Smoking’, Abraham and Kashyap have been looking for an opportunity to work together. Kashyap had decided to include John Abrahim on board when ‘Bombay Velvet’ was thought of.
Confirming John’s presence in the movie, a report said, “When he heard that Aamir was signed, John was really happy for Anurag. People told John that Aamir had replaced him but John knew the truth. Even if it was true, he’d have been happy for Anurag. However, Anurag would never ever drop John. After 10 years of struggle in the film industry, John was the first hero who took Anurag seriously.”
