Akshay Kumar and John Abrahim will be playing the role of pole dancers in a movie. The movie is directed by Rohit Dhawan, the son of filmmaker-editor David Dhawan.
Previously, Rohit Dhawan was supposed to make his directorial debut with “Come on Pappu” ,starring Akshay Kumar , Sonam Kapoor , Ranbir Kapoor and to be produced under “Percept Picture Company” banner, but they backed out of the movie because of lack of funds.
Rohit Dhawan , then completely dropped the idea of making that film.
Later, he wrote his own script and decided to star Akshay Kumar and John Abrahim in the lead.
The Eros International has agreed to produce this film and will be made under their banner.
The film is a romantic comedy, in which Akshay Kumar and John Abrahim will be playing the role of pole dancers in a strip club.
Before, Rohit Dhawan took this project to Studio 18, but they denied going with this project because of Akshay Kumar’s high price demand and John Abraham’s mega fee hike post back to back successes of Dostana and New York.
“Garam Masala”, was the last movie in which Akshay kumar and John Abrahim were seen together.
