Singer & actress Jennifer Lopez who is now the new judge of reality show ‘American idol’ has banned her ex-husband Ojani Noa to attend the auditions for the singing talent hunt show.
Last week it was emerged that Ojani is planning to attend the auditions to show-off his singing talent to the world.
However, as soon as J.Lo took the seat in the judging panel she requested the bosses of the show to ban her first husband entering the premises of the audition venue.
"Jennifer told Fox to make sure that the screeners at the auditions would not let Ojani anywhere near the auditions. Fox made it clear he was not welcome and that he could be arrested if he showed up so he dropped the plan at the last minute," said a source.
"It was a shame because all he wanted to do was to showcase his voice and show people that he can really sing too," added the source.
Lopez married Cuban chef and more recently, a writer, in 1997 after meeting him at a Miami restaurant where he worked as a waiter. The pair divorced in 1998 and since then they have been involved in series of legal battles. The budding singer attracted media attention when he threatened to release raunchy tapes of them together.
However, now J.Lo is happily married to singer Marc Anthony and has two fraternal twins, a girl and a boy, Emme Maribel Muñiz, and Maximilian.
