Apple iPad 3G will hit the stores on April 30. This was announced by a company official on Tuesday. Apart from that, the company will disclose the international pricing details for the tablet on May 10, it said.
The tablet has become instant hit since its inception few months before. It created such a craze people waited at the stores overnight to be the first customers. It had also got good response from the online booking.
According to a report, this popular touchscreen gadget sold more than 500,000 units of its Wi-Fi model in the U.S. just after its April 3 launch. The 3G version is also getting good response from the public.
The 3G model of the iPad will cost an additional $130. So, the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models will cost $629, $729 and $829 respectively.
Apple iPad is multi-featured tablet that enables the users in surfing the Web, watching movies, playing games and sending email.
The tablet will be available in countries like Australia, Canada, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the UK at the end of May.
