Now technophiles will be happy to have a new tablet from Nokia as the telecom major has also jumped into the bandwagon of tablet market with its planned release of an iPad device in some time soon.
It is now the iPad that is a lucrative segment in doing business for the major players. And, Apple iPad has started the race in hybrid devices. However, now there are a number of internet tablets like JooJoo, Notion Ink's Adam, the HP Slate in the market.
According to analysts, the Nokia tablet is likely to be a big competitor for the Apple iPad in specs and features. Nokia is also in talks with some of the major designers and suppliers to produce its touchscreen tablet. However, it has the experience of making a product of separate domain like its first laptop, the Booklet 3G.
Nokia had also the N770 handheld Internet device that made it popular. The N-Series Internet tablet is also a much sought product now. So, the previous experience could help it in making a full-fledged tablet device.
As per the folks, the new Nokia tablet may also carry the new MeeGo OS which is evident from its partnership with Intel. However, the techno freaks could get more data soon on this section.
