According to reports, Chinese software major Huawei is planning to release a super sized Android smartphone called the Ideos X6 in January next year.
The Ideos X6 is a large device with a 1 GHz processor and a 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen. The other attributes of the set include 512 MB of RAM and 2 GB of ROM, a 5 MP camera with auto-focus and an LED flash.
The smartphone is powered by a 1400 mAH battery and supports HSDPA speeds of up to 14 Mb/s. It runs on Android 2.2 OS and incorporates some other features like 2D/3D graphics acceleration, 720p decoding and HDMI.
Huawei is expected to release the Ideos X6 in major Asian markets and the US in January. However, the other details are still to be traced out.
