Motrola Quench XT3, the Android-based handset will soon be available in India, sources said.
Targeting the high-end market, Motorola is priced at Rs. 12,500. The touch-screen phone, with chic looks and glossy finish, comes larger than standard handsets and weighs around 114 grams.
Motorola Quench has 3.2 inches wide display with 320 x 480 resolution and is equipped with 3 mega pixels camera with LED Flash. The supports all other standard features of smartphones- 2GB card memory card, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm Audio Jack, FM Radio, LED Flash-enabled camera with autofocus feature.
The smartphone runs on Android 1.6 and supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G with HSDPA of 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth version 2.0.
The phone can sustain a talktime of 6.5 hours and standby time of 445 hours with 3G networks.
Motorola’s Quench series was initially launched in February 2010 at the Mobile world Congress based in Barcelona. The company is soon expected to announce about the launch in India .
