Hema Malini Bungalow Robbery Case Solved Hema Malini |
The Crime branch in Mumbai solved the theft case of Hema Malini’s Goregaon bungalow. Five persons have been arrested in the robbery case.
The crime branch unit 12 got a tip off that the suspected gang will be meeting in Dahisar for a new robbery. The branch laid a trap and arrested the suspects. When interrogated they confessed that they were behind the robbery in Hema Malini’s bungalow.
The five thieves have been identified as Vinod Sahi, Manoj Sahi, Veer Bahadur Batala, Tapendra Sahi and Ram Maan. Veer Bahadur Batala was the brain behind the theft as he told others that Hema Malini’s house will be vacant on weekends. The police could recover part of the loot from them.
JCP Rakesh Maria, Crime branch said, “We have arrested five persons and recovered part of the booty. We are still looking for a few more suspects, identified as Netra Sahi, Garak Sahi and Umesh Sahi, who are believed to have fled to Nepal with the rest of the loot,’’ “Most of them work as guards. The main accused, Veer Batala, works as a watchman in a building near Hema Malini’s bungalow. He passed on the information to the others that the actress’ bungalow could be an easy target.’’
