Gauri Khan has always remained bonded to the grounds and she has never showed-off the feeling of being Shah Rukh’s wife. She in fact says that there is no difference in being a superstar’s wife and just can’t keep on talking about him.
Gauri says, “Don’t ask me how it feels to be a superstar’s wife. It doesn’t feel anything different. I can’t keep on praising him all the time. That would be so boring.”
But, there are certain things which she shares with everyone and those things please her the most. She says that she becomes very pleased when he sees Shah Rukh working in his study room.
She adds further, “His (Shah Rukh’s) study is one of my favorite rooms. It feels good to see him moving around in that room, or just sitting there and working. It just feels nice to see him at home.”
She also says that although she has the full right of managing everything, but she has kept study as SRK’s private space and it also serves as an office for the important visitors.
Gauri says, “That’s his space, and I don’t interfere there at all. He can do anything that his heart pleases there (Shah Rukh calls this room his kennel!).”
As a parent, Gauri says that Shah Rukh is the spoiler and is the one who gives full liberty to them, while she is the strict one.
Gauri adds, “Oh! He spoils them. I am the stricter of the two.”
She is now-a-days feeding Shah Rukh with chicken curry and rice as he has lost lot of weight during the first phase shooting of his superhero movie ‘Ra.One’.
