Arbaaz Khan has become a producer now and ‘Dabangg’ is his first project. As a film maker he highlights on the important aspects of the film and reveals the basic ingredients and its making.

 

‘Dabangg’ is a typical movie based on the 1990’s era, where a hero comes and smashes all the villains, here it can be just vice-versa. Here, Salman plays the role of corrupt cop and smashes everyone around him.

 

Arbaaz also says that production was always on his mind, the movie just served as an instant platform and he decided to foray as a filmmaker.

 

He reveals, “When Abhinav Kashyap came with an offer, Dabangg became a catalyst and made me want to start my production house with it. I liked what Abhinav had narrated to me when he came up with the raw stage of just the idea. But I knew that the forty minute narration had a big potential. He was also looking for a producer and I gave him an offer which he couldn't refuse.”

 

 

He also tells about the script writing part of the film and says, “Only Salman has worked in the script written by my father so far. It was Patthar Ke Phool. My dad has not been completely involved with writing but he has either doctored it or given a suggestion. How much of that we take is our decision. My dad is now retired and we want him to enjoy his life.”

 

Arbaaz says that the Sonakshi was entirely Salman’s choice as he thought that a new face would be suitable to launch in the movie. He also praises Sonakshi and says that she has a lot of positive attitude in her and she is amazing on-screen.
