Pinto is not a hot-shot Bollywood celebrity but like the typical B-town celebs, she also says that she is a big drama queen. She got inspired from the big time beauty queens and then decided to become an actress.
The 26 years old actress adds, “As my friends and family are quick to remind me, I have always been a big drama queen. As a child, I would stand in front of the mirror and pretend I was this or that person from television. All I needed to do was realizing it and recognize what I wanted to do."
Although her popularity rate in India is hardly noticeable, but as matter of fact, she has gained a lot of fame in the Hollywood industry. She has many projects lined up for her in the coming months and too with the big time directors. One is Woody Allen's latest London-based ensemble film, ‘You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger’, to be released the next month.
She has other films also lined up for her, one is ‘Miraj’ with a very famed director and top actor. It is based on Rula Jebreal's novel, which follows an orphan (played by Pinto) as she falls in love with a Palestinian activist in the movie and story takes a u-turn.
