It is heard that film-maker Karan Johar has asked the zero figure Bollywood beauty, Kareena Kapoor to lose some weight. Quite happy with the little weight she gained recently, she says that she is not going to shed it for anyone.
On the other hand, Kareena rubbishes any such rumors that Karan has asked her to lose some weight and she says that she read the reports related to the topic, which are all false.
The 29 years old actress adds, “Karan has apparently said all this to the whole world but has not discussed anything with me. I am not going to lose any weight, I have gained a little recently and I am very happy with that.”
It was rumored that for her upcoming movie ‘Short Term Shaadi’ opposite to Imran Khan, she was asked to shed more weight and cut short her hair, so that she can carry those skimpy outfits in the movie.
She will be soon seen in her upcoming movie ‘We Are Family’ starring opposite to Arjun Rampal, Kajol is also the lead character in the movie. Kareena plays the role of Arjun’s girl friend and the same role was played by Julia Roberts in ‘Step Mom’. ‘We Are Family’ is the official remake of the Hollywood flick, ‘Step Mom’.
Kareena adds, “There are similarities between my character and Julia Roberts', but this is almost my 40th film and I have a distinct style of my own. I have portrayed the role the way, the director had visualized it.”
The film is releasing on September 2nd, on the day of Janmashtmi, it was previously scheduled for September 3rd release, but due to the holy festival, the movie is getting released a day before.
