Sony Ericsson’s smartphone-cum-gaming console, Xperia Play, is now available for pre-orders in India. Online retail company Flipkart has now listed the smartphone on its website. Sony’s Xperia Play is expected to be available starting this April.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will be available for Rs .32, 000 from Flipkart along with one year warranty from Sony Ericsson India and free transit insurance. Flipkart estimates the release date around second week of April.
The PlayStation certified Sony Ericsson Xperia Play smartphone made its debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011. The slide-out mobile phone has 4 inches LED backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen offering resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
Based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, the device is powered with 1 GHz Scorpion ARMv7 CPU and 5 mega pixels LED flash-enabled camera with autofocus. The phone has memory capacity of 8GB microSD card expandable up to 32GB.
